The Kel-Tec SUB-2000 Gen 3 is a versatile and compact self-loading pistol caliber carbine that can be an excellent companion for hiking, hunting, self-defense, or varmint control. It uses Glock 19 style magazines that offer ease and convenience, and it can also accept higher capacity Glock style 9mm Luger mags as well. This improved Gen 3 model brings some exciting new features that make it the most versatile SUB2000 yet. First, the forearm now rotates before locking into place when the rifle is folded. This solves one of the biggest gripes of the Gen2 version and now allows the gun to be folded even with an optic mounted! The forearm also has top and bottom picatinny rails as well as M-LOK slots for adding attachments, and the stock can be adjusted for length of pull. When in the folded configuration, the rifle has a length of just 16.15", making it incredibly compact and easy to throw in a backpack. Additional enhancements on the Gen3 version include an improved aluminum trigger and an ambidextrous bolt hold open.
